Shawn Benjamin-Draper City Council....Haunted Hollow

Ok, I am really trying to get up to date on my blog.. I have to post back to July I believe.. I will work my way through it, So.. Here is the latest going on in our household.. I am proud of my husband- he is running a campaign right now for Draper City Council, he is such a GREAT Guy and would be such a wonderful addition to our city. I see this as an experience, if he get's in GREAT.. Changes will take place! If he does not, it's an accomplishment and experience.! I have learned SO much about the way that I vote- I will no longer just vote someone in because I am NOT paying attention to what is going on, I will VOTE because I 

 

believe in that person and have read the information and the platform.

And so it begins.. here is Shawn in the newspaper as a Candidate.. Really he is doing it!!

Yay Shawn! I know I am voting for the first 3 in the alphabet.. Anderson, Benjamin and Besaw!

Here is some information that Shawn has put together- you may have it on your door step if you live in Draper, we are trying the best we can to hit every home in Draper. 

"Meet the Candidates", This was a GREAT night and they did a great job!

We were given the opportunity to join in Draper City's Annual Haunted Hollow- we were in charge of the dart throwing contest... It was short notice but we jumped right onto it.. Here is Shawn's sign =)

Step right up! We had a line that never would end, it was awesome: we had to cut short right before it was time to close shop, we were then in the dark and  lost in the grass were 6 darts (no injuring darts) f.y.i.!

Shawn had a blast helping all the kids and letting the little one's win many of the time... Everyone came out a winner!

Here is my niece Ash getting her face painted, Sister Besaw set it all up and did a nice job! I say Sister Besaw because she is in our ward! The face painting looked awesome.

Every 15 minutes there was a pumpkin drop done by the Fire Department, it was fun to watch!

Can you imagine walking up the latter with a pumpkin? These men do this all the time in a fire or to rescue someone- Thanks Firemen: we appreciate them!
